Organic Cannabis – the illegal superfood….

cannabis superfood

Think about all the super foods we currently know of and are aware of… take these 2 for example, kale and dandelion greens..

Kale:  is a nutritional powerhouse packed with antioxidants such as vitamin C, beta-carotene, kaempferol and quercetin… The free radical neutralizing effects of the antioxidants in kale can help keep your skin looking great by preventing loss of skin elasticity triggered by excessive ultraviolet radiation.”  “In addition to providing a truckload of vitamins and flavonoids, kale contains several glucosinolates including glucobrassicin, glucoraphanin and sinigrin. When you eat kale, these compounds are converted into isothiocyanates in your digestive tract. A large body of evidence suggests that isothiocyanates may help prevent cancer and, in some cases, even suppress the growth of cancerous tumors. Isothiocyanates work their anti-cancer magic by eliminating potential carcinogens from the body, by conferring protection against DNA damage, and by stimulating apoptosis (self-destruction) of cancerous cells….The potential health benefits of kale also include enhanced urinary health, which may extend well beyond protection against bladder cancer. Kale is listed as one of the best foods to fight UTIs due to its extraordinary nutritional profile. Kale is chock-full of pro-vitamin A (kale contains almost as much pro-vitamin A as carrots), and pro-vitamin A is known to promote healthy surface linings of the urinary tracts.(1)

Dandelion: “Dandelion greens come loaded with lutein and zeaxanthin, two nutrients important for healthy eyesight…Both nutrients filter light as it enters your eyes to protect eye tissues from light-induced damage. Dandelion greens also provide considerable amounts of vitamins A and K. Both nutrients affect your blood. Vitamin K regulates the formation of blood clots, while vitamin A supports new blood cell growth. Vitamin A also plays a role in eye function and supports your immune system, while vitamin K helps maintain healthy bones… Incorporate dandelion greens into your diet as an excellent source of vitamin C, as well as a vegetarian-friendly source of calcium. Vitamin C and calcium both positively affect your bones — you need calcium to maintain bone density and rely on vitamin C to produce collagen, which makes your bones resistant to damage. Both nutrients also support nerve cell communication and contribute to nervous system function.(2)

Now lets look at Cannabis,

Cannabis: One does not need to look far to find the benefits of juicing raw organic cannabis ..  In raw form, Cannabis leaves and the tri-chrome covered flowers are concentrated with non-psychoactive, anti-biotic, anti-fungal, anti-viral, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immune-regulating and anti-cancer nutrient compounds including lesser-known Tetrahydrocannabicannabidiol (CBD), and Tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV) both of which are proving to be therapeutic substances capable of preventing and/or reversing a plethora of chronic and debilitating illnesses...When you begin juicing “raw” cannabis, you will consume cannabinoids in their acid forms. The raw form of CBD is CBDA or cannabidiolic acid. The raw form of THC is THCA or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid. These are the A arrangements of the molecules, the non-psychoactive forms. The acids of this plant are not psychoactive unless they are decarboxylated, or heated. When decarboxylation takes place the acids are converted to Δ9-THC and CBD.

“Recently CBD is making waves in research, being regarding as a highly medicinal substance with unique immune-regulating capabilities. The human body already contains an endogenous cannabinoid system, complete with different types of cannabinoid receptors, introducing cannabinoids to your systems can help normalize the body’s functions, including cellular communication, regeneration and repair, as well as regulating immune function.”

“By juicing you are allowing the consumption of up to 60x the amount of THC in the form of THCA without the psychoactive effects, allowing for increased cannabinoid saturation. THCA is the precursor acid form of THC, they are metabolized differently…” “Unheated Cannabis extract and THCa were able to inhibit the tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) levels in culture supernatants from U937 macrophages and peripheral blood macrophages after stimulation with LPS in a dose-dependent manner.” (3)

This link is reserved for the Cannabis Skeptic.. we all know one.. anyway, if the quotes above were not enough to satisfy your thirst for information have a read… and if that info still isn’t enough to suppress your thirst.. check out the downloads and links below at the bottom of this post.. I think I’ve done my part, Cannabis is a superfood. The information is out there to satisfy this claim and is well documented/substantiated. The laws in America today are outdated and reflect a period of ignorance when “we the people” or the citizens of America, were un-aware of the potential health benefits of this amazing, yet illegal herb.. the time has come, the time is now. #LEGALIZEIT
