If it ain’t kush it wont touch my lighter!
So the title may appear misleading, but think about this for a minute.. i did, i gave it some thought check it below
They cannot arrest everyone that consumes pot/weed in Canada… we all know this, its too much work, too much wasted resources, there is too many of us plain and simple …As far as i am concerned, the act of smoking weed is LEGAL in Canada, its rarely enforced..you can walk down the street and puff openly without hassle for the most part, as i’ve yet to witness incident… and now that we got a federal employee (the RCMP Mountie that was in the news as of late Cpl Ron Francis) setting the precedent for federal employees who are prescribed marijuana. Pretty much the Federal government has failed its citizens in clarifying Federal employee regulations for consuming Marijuana if they got a medical prescription, they have yet to determine to accommodate this as of the recent revelation in the news..
What is not LEGAL yet, is engaging in open commerce for recreational users, and growing, yet Canadians still grow and sell weed regardless of the law.. we are unable to be claiming related expenses to ones WEED business via Canada Revenue Agency.. so we cannot yet write Weed off as a tax write off yet or make claims for related expenses, but we will get there! SMOKE YOUR LEGAL WEED, cuz they can’t stop us! CANADA IS A NATION TO BE RECKONED WITH. This is Not HARPER’s Canada.. this is OUR Canada, OUR Country, OUR Land, If Harper doesn’t like WEED, then he can leave.. he’s a buzz kill anyway, just look at his whack hairstyle or lack thereof
The topic of Marijuana/Mary-Jane/pot/weed/ganja/HERB/ whatever the heck you wanna call it has earned an article in FORBES magazine .. they ask if “BIG Marijuana is the Future?” And I can answer that question, the Answer of course.. is YES… Marijuana is big business.. the whole globe is opening arms to legalization or less harsh penalties.. finally persecution against stoners is coming to a forseeable end after about a 70 year long war… alas..
The article continues to say that a michigan based business, will be the first of its kind to supply Medicinal Marijuana in Canada .. interesting … if our government doesn’t take action.. hopefully enough mounting pressure around us will lead to it!!

The Marriage of the Sun and Moon: Dispatches from the Frontiers of Consciousness
Dr. Weil has compiled a fountain of some of the most unbiased research and details his personal experiences traveling around the globe to other cultures and experiencing their rituals and how cultures actually utilize “drugs” as tools to connect with higher consciousness, increasing their awareness. It is especially refreshing to read about his experiences and even more his approach to giving the reader information. He delivers information the negatives and the positives from each drug. After reading this book one could conclude simply, that Drugs are neither “Good” nor “Bad” it is how the individual decides to approach drugs. There is a very thin line between “Drug Use” and “drug abuse” and in Dr. Weil conveys this in his book. He even makes a point in the Chapter about “Sugar” and even draws comparisons to that and heroin and how perhaps Sugar is not all that safe or benign as we believe it to be.
Dr. Weil, could not be more right with that assertion that sugar is now a culprit among society especially in North America as waistlines continue to expand ever increasingly with diabetes on the rise.
I definitely reccomend this read to the curious, and to any of those looking for another perspective towards Drugs and how they can be used in responsible fashion to increase one’s own awareness of the cosmic universe.

As per the title says.. an article recently came out, you can read it here
is indicative that the police colluded with the media to overstate the dangers of growing marijuana.
This does not come as a surprise to me, however, but its nice to see some coverage on the issue on this front. I mean honestly, how much more of this BS can we expect? Are we of Citizens of Canada going to keep taking the government’s word as the “truth” ?
How many more goddamn lies are we going to put up with? how many more scandals among other crap. Are we not getting Fed up as a Nation? The same can be said about the United States.. Are their people not tired yet of being lied to through the Mainstream mouthpiece? Are we due for revolution or revolt? Should our federal government not be held accountable for failed policy? I mean its not even clear according to Calgary Police Chief in this article, we are seeing more and more police come forward and voicing their concerns on this front and how its a waste of resources and clogging the courts see this article also..
I guess the ultimate question is, how many more police chiefs will we need to chime in on this issue before action is take?? Enough is enough already, Canadians deserve a clear and concise policy if not, outright legalization. We are not living in the dark ages anymore, sheesh!
It appears to me, while the rest of the world is looking to soften penalties/legalize marijuana, Canada is idly sitting on the sidelines.. we lost our brand of being a progressive nation in that area of the law.
Thanks Mr. Harper!

So here is an interesting story about me and my loving GF…
One sunday Morning (20 Jul 13) to be exact, me and my gf are driving to get some laundry done, while we were having lunch at her parents. Well driving out of Quebec to Ottawa I was pulled over for doing 81 in a 50 zone.
I just got my spliff lit too goddamnit. I had rolled like a two-paper spliff and people were driving a bit slow, that frustrated me. I ended up missing the “50km ahead” sign and well the cherries came on. I quickly stashed my joint putting it out at the same time, and hid my bag of kush.
My girlfriend tried to get some of my cologne to spray to help cover the smell , she was looking out for me =) and but the cap flew off so we couldnt spray it in time. I ended up pulling over after performing a 3 pt turn infront of the cop because i pulled over into an oncoming traffic lane by accidnent lol. I am driving with Ontario plates in Quebec to top it off…
The officer approaches my window of the car, to which i only cracked about an inch, and asked if there was a problem. He then asserted in broken english that “it smells like marijuana in your car i will need you to step out of your vehicle. I straight up denied everything eventhough it was obvious. (bad move on my part lol) When i stepped out of my vehicle i even tried to close my door behind me as it was locked so not to let him enter and search my car. My girlfriend sitting in her seat still at this point.
The officer then proceeded to search me as SOP (standard operating procedure), slapped the cuffs on me and put me in the back seat of the cruiser while he had my gf sit on the curb and searched her purse and my vehicle.
He put in a solid effort of about 15 mins searching high and low for my shit and eventually found my kush. He returned to his crusier where i was seated in the backseat (damn those cuffs were uncomfortable lol) and he then asked me some questions, i told him i had one charge prior in 2010 and then claimed the weed he found to be mind.
We chatted briefly, then he interrupted me and said ” i know what i am going to do with this” took me out of the car, cuffs came off, gave me back my stuff and wrote me a ticket for speeding totaling $196.00
Me and my Girlfriend continued on our journey after, relieved at the outcome of the situation eventhough, text book, i did everything you shouldn’t do and still he exercised discretion and let me go about my business.. we ended up giving a hitchhiker from belgium a ride to the road heading towards montreal and I hooked him up with some free kush as my good deed. I wanted to ensure he got to experience the pot Canada has to offer.
That was indeed my closest brush with the law when it comes to pot. I learned my lesson needless to say lol.
I am including a copy of the ticket.. less some of the details you can see the value of the ticket though,
Its interesting to note, how recently the Tories have reconsidered their position on the laws regarding pot possession and penalization since Justin Trudeau came to admit smoking marijuana while serving on the hill, check it out here
A halifax man, is going to have to fork over an additional $700.00 / mo for his medical Marijuana according to Health Canada.
Under the old provisions of the MMAR in 2001 allowed medical marijuana patients to grow their own medicine.
This law is changing soon, and it is having an impact on those that seriously need it for their illnesses.
Tony Beare, 8 years ago was diagnosed with a rare type medical condition that forced his bladder to shrink or experience shrinking of his bladder which forced him to frequent the bathroom 120-150 times a day. With cannabis consumption that number is cut to 60-90x a day, still a lot but significantly less… for the remaining bit of the article, check it out here..
